If you are a Lesbian, Gay man, Bi-sexual, Trans-sexual or someone living with (or partnered to) someone of the same sex, then you are welcome to an informal community gathering of LGBT persons in Cornwall on Saturday 25th August at Hayle Beach.

This is a simple 'informal' gathering of LGBT persons to enjoy a beautiful Cornish Beach this summer and have fun in community company of other LGBT persons in celebration of Gay PRIDE.

Simply turn up! LOOK OUT for the Rainbow Flags!

Date: Saturday 25th August 2007 (Bank Holiday Weekend).	Time: 10am to 5pm approx (high tide approx 4pm).
Location: Hayle Beach (Between The Bluff Inn lifeguard station & the mouth of the Hayle Estuary)

• Bring YOUR own picnic (food/BBQ) ,
• Bring YOUR own beach games,
• Bring YOUR own bucket & spade,
• Bring YOUR own Cornish shovel,
• Bring YOUR own inflatable toys,
• Bring YOUR own Surf/body boards,
• Bring YOUR own sun tan lotion (but get someone else to apply it!!!)
• Bring YOUR own Rainbow Flags, towels, Kites, etc.

Ultimately YOU are responsible for your Own requirements & safety on the Day!

Parking - There is ample PAY FOR parking

1. Council Parking at the Bluff Inn
2. The Bluff Inn (for their customers)
3. Pay For Parking at Hayle Harbour (beyond Hayle outdoor swimming pool)

Access: Disability access to the beach from ALL the car parks is NOT very good.

Food / Drink / Toilets: Available at the Bluff Inn

General Info: This is a beautiful beach 3 miles long (golden sands) & backed with huge sand dunes!!!

Games: For those interested in participating in a GIANT sandcastle tide race! (Which is why some may need Cornish Shovels!)

This is a Great beach for fun "Sand Sculpting" for creative types!

Hoping to get volleyball, beach skittles & rounders going for the athletic energetic types.

Other: HIGH TIDE is at 16.06pm (just after 4pm)

** Please take note: There are STRONG CURRENTS around the mouth of the estuary. Take note of the lifeguard advisary Flags! These are for your safety!

*NB: Sorry - NO Dogs - This is a Council DOG BAN beach!
